1 Cup Citric Acid

2 Cups Cornstarch

1 3/4 Cup Baking Soda

Food Coloring

Essential Oil

Mix all of your dry ingredients together in a bowl. If you want to tint it a color then just add about 6 drops of food coloring to a small spritzer bottle of water. Spritz the mixture until you get the color you want. Add water slowly to mixture so it does not fizz. 

Check consistency of powder with fingers. When you are able to pack the mixture then you can stop spritzing. 

Add 5 drops of your essential oil and mix really well. Pack your mix into a muffin pan or bath bomb mold. Let set and dry for about 2 hours. Pop out carefully when done and toss into the bath tub.

4 Easy Ingredients

Here is a really simple recipe to make your DIY Sugar Scrub. 

Grab a bowl and add 1/2 cup of Granulated Sugar.

Add 1/2 cup of Brown Sugar to the bowl.

Add 1/3 Cup of Coconut Oil to the bowl.

Add 5-10 Drops of Your Favorite Essential Oil to the bowl.

Such as:

Vanilla

Wintergreen

Honeysuckle

Grapefruit

Orange

Lemon

Lavender

Lime

Mandarin

Nutmug

Mix all the ingredients up with a spoon. Then pack your sugar scrub into a jar and put a lid on it and then sit it next to your sink. You can use this to wash your hands the next time your at the sink.

Just scoop out a small amount and rub it all over your hands. Rub the mixture over your skin to remove dry or dead skin. Then rinse the sugar scrub off and dry your hands. Your hands will feel nice and soft after this scrub. The coconut oil will hydrate your hands and leave behind smooth skin.

Sugar granules are good for exfoliating your skin and getting the dead skin cells off. You can also use this in the shower but please take extra caution that you do not slip in the shower. The coconut oil can make your shower floor slippery. 

You could actually leave out the essential oil and just use the coconut oil with the brown sugar only. This smells really good and has the same effect. I actually love the smell of the brown sugar. However, it just won't leave behind a scent when you rinse it off. The essential oil is what leaves behind a smell so if you omit that then you won't have a lingering smell left on your hands. The coconut oil will stay on your hands and make them soft.

This is the best liquid foundation I have EVER used!  I don't generally have much success with liquid foundations because they are too sheer and they don't give me the coverage I am looking for but this one is SUPREME! I was actually stunned with this one! SERIOUSLY this worked incredible with my skin and I was just completely taken back by how good this actually was. I purposely picked out an age defying makeup targeted for older skin because older skin kind is more dried out and has lines and wrinkles. So when I applied this foundation to my skin it went on so smooth and actually had an excellent coverage for a liquid foundation. I am really impressed with this and I will be buying more of this. And the SMELL.... smells soooooo GOOD!!! This foundation actually has a really nice smell to it. I totally recommed this porduct and I don't think you will be disappointed with this purchase. 

The picture at the top shows what the CoverGirl foundation looks like with and without lotion. I was pretty impressed. The foundation does not look cakey on the skin AT ALL. It really does go on perfectly smooth. I did not settle into my lines and wrinkles on my skin. It actually stayed on top of the skin. WOW! I love this product and this is my go to foundation now. I am loving this one so much. 

I love the pump on this and it puts out just the right amount.

WOW! This stuff is super soft to the touch. It feels like a soft rabbit or something. lol  I think this product for my face was so-so. It's a good product but my skin is just really dry and needs miracle products. lol I don't think this product was a good match for my skin type. I do think this would be an excellent product for those with oily skin and that does not have many breakouts, or lines and wrinkles. I took some pictures just to show you what this was doing to my skin. I applied this to the back of my hand. My camera is really picking up the cracks and lines in my skin a little too well. Looks really gross actually. lol

On the left I used the L'Oreal face primer with Covergirl Advanced Radiance Foundation. 

On the right I only used the Covergirl foundation with out the primer. 

I wanted to show you what your skin looks like when you apply the primer. 

As you can, it just really does not do my skin any justice at all. It makes it look more rough and not smooth. It really accentuates my lines and wrinkles on my hand really bad. So you can imagine what this is doing to my face when I apply. Now keep in mind that this camera is set to the macro setting and is picking up everything that is not generally seen with the naked eye. But, using this primer with my foundation just doesn't work well with my type of skin at all. I was hoping for a smooth even coverage and was hoping that it would fill in my lines and wrinkles but it does not appear to be doing that with my skin for whatever reason.

The product does seem to ball up on my skin somewhat. Now this is a very soft product to touch and and I really do think that this could work for other people but I just couldn't get it to do right with my dry skin. 

I noticed that this product say's that is has "Cyclohexasiloxane" in it which is basically a skin conditioning agent. It can fill in lines and wrinkles and give the skin a more plump look.....However, I just didn't get the result I was hoping for. Maybe I should have added lotion to my face really good before applying the primer and then apply the foundation. Perhaps that would have yielded a better result. I just figured that the primer would fill in all my lines on my face really well but it didn't. 

It runs about $8.20 through Walmart if you do decide to try it out for yourself.

This is a menthol external analgesic medicated lip balm. It has a very strong scent to it. I actually didn't realize how strong the scent would be when I bought this. I LOVEEEEE the BA BY LIPS products. This one in the picture is PINK ME UP 40. I am not a huge fan of medicated smells in general but it does work. I do prefer cotton candy smells and stuff like that. haha But this is a medicated one so it's suppose to be like that. I love my other baby lips products that are not medicated ones. They are AMAZING! Seriously the best lip balm!!!! If you have chapped lips or struggle with them cracking then you should give this a try.

This is a very thick lip gloss that is AMAZING and feels great on your lips. It looks like you sealed your lips in a glass coat finish. I love how thick this is. It actually does hydrate your lips and gives such a pretty look over another lipstick shade. These are only 99 cents. They are mini squeeze tubes and I have them in a few different colors. This has no scent to it. I own some other expensive brands of lip gloss from other companies and have noticed that they they get really really sticky over time. Really bad sticky. It's some really good stuff. This is enriched with vitamins E & B5 and skin essential lipids. It deeply hydrates your extra dry skin. This is my favorite lotion out of all my lotions that I have. It feels like a thicker lotion which my face seriously needs. It works perfect and stays put. You buy it from Walmart  for $8.87.

It seems to hydrate my skin way better than any lotion I have ever tried. I love all lotions but I do think that if you have severely dry skin then you might want to try this stuff out. It works great!
