All of our nail polishes are mixed by hand by me and my daughter and are 3 Free.They do not contain Formaldehyde, Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), or Toluene. Each bottle of nail polish includes 2 stainless steel balls for easier mixing. All of our nail polishes are considered glitter toppers which is a clear based glitter polish that is to be worn over another base color.
First we start with assembling all of our our nail polishes. We have to screw the brush into the lid of everyone of the bottles. And then we fill each bottle with two stainless steel balls for easier mixing. Then we fill the bottles with suspension base. Suspension base is what you need in order to keep your glitters floating in the bottle. If you do not have this then your glitter will sink to the bottom. The glitter must be solvent resistant. Otherwise your glitters will bleed and in most cases become totally destroyed by deteriorating from the suspension base nail polish. Certain neons will bleed and tint the base. Other times certain glitters are too thin and will not hold up. There is a lot of research that goes into making a good glitter nail polish. Some glitters seem really pretty online and then when you get them they are not what you thought. Some glitter shapes might be too large and not lay right on the nail bed. We have to pay special attention to the size of glitter.
Next we add our solvent resistant glitter. We mix all of our glitters in large ziplock bags and mix and match pretty colors together to get a pretty blend for the polish. We measure an exact amount each time and pour them through a funnel into each bottle. We log and write all this information down so we know exactly what went into the polish. A lot of work goes into making each little glitter filled bottle that you see.
RARE Limited Edition - Joseph's Coat Of Many Colors
This pretty colorful glitter topper was inspired by the popular Bible story "Joseph and The Coat Of Many Colors". This polish is filled lots of different colors and shapes. Looks great over red polish like you see in the picture. The red polish I used was by Pure Ice in Siren. Awesome over white polish as well. There is holographic white glitter in this.
