DIY Headband Storage Idea

  DIY Headband Storage Idea

I made a headband storage holder for my daughter. We both kind of needed something to put headbands in and for them to be organized. So this is what we came up with.

I used some long tube carboard (that actually came in the mail) but 3" PCV Pipe will work too. I had some plastic totes from Home Depot all ready at the house and decided to use those. Walmart carries stuff like this too.

I just added the headbands around the cardboard. This keeps the headbands all organized and you are able to see what you have. I added a label on the outside with the word HEADBANDS on it. I also used the other plastic totes for more storage ideas for my daughter. All these plastic totes fit in her closet. You could always cover the tubes in material to make it pretty.

DIY Nail Polish Bobby Pins

DIY Nail Polish Bobby Pins
Need some colored bobby pins to match your outfit and nails? All you need is some fingernail polish in any color and a toilet paper roll or you could use a piece of cardboard.
We grabbed some bobby pins and laid them on some paper. At first we tried painting the bobby pins on paper and this didn't work well.

We grabbed some pink fingernail polish and started painting away.

Then we thought this might be easier if we put this on something like a toilet paper roll.

This worked a lot better. We used different colors of nail polish and we even used the chunky glitter polish and it looked really pretty! Try it out for yourself. We did about three light coats, and they turned out perfect!

How To Make A Hair Necklace- DIY Hair Accessories

How To Make Your Own Hair Necklace

This is a very easy and simple way to make a fancy hair necklace. All you have to do is grab two bobby pins and a very light weight cheap plastic dollar necklace from the dollar store and add your two bobby pins to the ends of it. Just fold the necklace in  half and then add a bobby pin the left and to the right. Now just pin in hair. Make sure it is very light weight or it won't hold in your hair.

You can also make your own with beads. Get creative and come up with something pretty!
